Sihat dengan buah epal


Assalamualaikum...

Hari ni kita cerita pasal buah epal. Kata orang makan sebiji epal sehari sangat baik untuk kesihatan lebih-lebih lagi kalau nak turunkan berat badan. Sebabnya banyak khasiat dalam buah epal ni selain mampu mengurangkan kadar kolestrol dalam badan.

Apa istimewanya buah epal ni sampai dalam idiom pun disebut buah epal, bukan buah oren, buah anggur, pisang atau buah-buahan yang lain? There are 9 reasons why an apple a day really keeps the doctor away.
1-Apple contains Vitamin C. Vitamin C 

helps greatly your immune system. A lot of people who lack Vitamin C in their diet have poor healing, bruise easily and have bleeding gums.

5-Apples contain phenols, which have a double effect on cholesterol. It reduces bad cholesterol and increases good cholesterol. They prevent LDL cholesterol from turning into oxidized LDL, a very dangerous form of bad cholesterol which can be deadly. 
6-Prevent tooth decay. Tooth decay is an infection that seriously damages the structure of your teeth, which is caused primarily because of bacteria. The juice of the apples has properties that can kill up to 80% of bacteria. So there you have it, an apple a day also keeps the dentist away. 
7-Protects your brain from brain disease. This is something many people don’t know, and when you consider that your brain makes the person you are, it gives a whole new perspective. Apple has substances called phytonutrients, and these phytonutrients prevents neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinsonism. 
8-Healthier Lungs. A research at the University of Nottingham Research shows that people who eat 5 apples or more per week has lower respiratory problems, including asthma. 
9-They taste great! And not only that, they also come in many flavors and colors. Not in a mood for a green apple? Why not get a red one, or a macintosh! Their taste can vary greatly, but still give you all the apple benefits. Variety is an important element to maintaining your health.

Banyak kan benefit makan buah epal ni. Aku suka sangat buah epal hijau. Epal merah kurang la sikit. Dan bila makan buah epal, aku tak suka buang kulit. Bila buang kulit, feel makan buah epal tu dah hilang. Kurang sedapnya. Tapi sekarang ni buah-buahan macam epal biasanya dilapisi lilin/wax untuk jaga kualiti buah tersebut. Supaya nampak segar sentiasa. Tapi sebenarnya, makan epal bersama kulitnya adalah lebih digalakkan.


Epal hijau mengandungi zat besi, magnesium, potasium, kalsium, soldium, vitamin C, vitamin A dan vitamin B serta merupakan sumber serat yang mudah larut. Kita digalakkan memakan epal bersama dengan kulitnya kerana sebahagian kandungan vitamin C terletak di bawah kulitnya.
Epal hijau boleh membantu mencegah: 
  1. Pembinaan kolesterol dalam dinding salur darah.
  2. Mengurangkan risiko penyakit jantung.
  3. Membantu kesihatan membran paru-paru.
  4. Membantu kesihatan tulang dengan menambah bahan kimia (boron) pada mineral tulang.
  5. Membantu kesihatan sistem kardiovaskular dengan mengekalkan tahap kolesterol darah.
  6. Membantu mengekalkan berat badan.
  7. Mengurangkan tekanan penyakit asma.

"Apabila anda hendak makan epal, hidulah baunya dan kemudian barulah makan epal tersebut. Kerana apabila anda melakukan demikian, setiap penyakit dan bahaya akan dihilangkan dari tubuh anda dan segala sesuatu yang disebabkan oleh ANGIN akan lenyap".

Epal berkhasiat membuang angin dalam badan. Sejauh mana kebenaran petua cium bau dia dulu ni, aku tak tahulah. Tapi, kalau sekadar nak cium bau sebelum makan tu, semua orang boleh buat. Senang saja kan. Belum cuba belum tahu, dan buah epal memang boleh buang angin sebenarnya. Sebabnya habis je makan sebiji epal, mesti aku sendawa. Buruk perangai. Hehehe...

Lagipun kadar antioksidan dalam buah epal memang dah terbukti tinggi dalam kajian-kajian sebelum ini. Cakap pasal antioksidan ni, teringat kat labwork master aku. Kenapa la supplier lambat sangat hantar glassware, kalau tak antioxidant test dah lama boleh start. Sabar la duhai hati.
